December 9, 11 and 15 2025: Online training on Career development and publication strategy
On the first day, the DCs met representatives from industry (Lithoz, Medapp and Medacta) as well as former Marie Curie doctoral candidates discussing the role of PhDs in the biomedical industry. In the second and third sessions, specific training on publication strategies was provided, addressing journal ranking and journal selection as well as tips on manuscript preparation.

Network School (Politecnico di Torino, September 15-18, 2025)
The doctoral candidates participated in an intensive training program covering the following topics:
- Additive manufacturing of bioceramics via vat photopolymerization, including hands-on training
- Synthesis of bioactive ceramics and scaffolds
- Mechanical characterization of ceramic scaffolds through nanoindentation
- Robocasting of biomaterials and bioactive glasses
- Techniques for the characterization of bone
- Ultrasound methods for the in-vitro characterization of critical bone and bone scaffolds
- Characterization and modeling of biomaterials and scaffolds
Furthermore, the following topics were also covered:
- Communication and media training
- REBONE scientific approaches – Principles of research integrity outreach.

November 25th 2024: First Training Event of the ReBone project
All DCs attended the on line workshop on “Social media”.
This two-hour online training session is designed to equip researchers in the ReBone project with essential skills for effectively utilizing social media. Participants learned strategies to enhance the visibility of their work, engage with broader audiences, and share project updates. The training covered best practices for creating impactful content, selecting appropriate platforms, and fostering professional interactions to ensure that ReBone’s mission and outcomes are communicated effectively to the public and stakeholders.
